Capello is the name in the papers today. Have to say, he would be my 2nd choice after Jose. After all, he quit the England job in support of JT.

I don't think anyone believes JT is a saint, but he isn't what the media make him out to be either. He's just human. The press just love to attack him for anything. I mean the whole Wayne Bridge thing... Vanessa Perroncel was Bridge's EX, not his current girlfriend, so surely she was fair game? Bridge's reaction and attitude was the primary reason JT lost the England captaincy.

This is great news. Now he's confirmed that he's leaving in May, let's spend ALL our energies on supporting the team, and no energy towards getting rid of the manager (seeing as it will happen anyway now). FOREVER BLUE

Depressingly I switched over to see what was going on in the Liverpool game and found that the atmosphere seems to be MUCH better, probably helped by the fact they have now levelled the game on aggregate (but they still need 1 more to overcome the away goals). The noise from the home crowd makes our game seem like a sunday league game.

Have faith in the FSW. He'll give one of his legendary half time team talks, we'll concede one more goal, then he'll take off Azpilicueta and bring on Ferreira. That's when we will prevail...

Ideal scenario for me - Roman fires Benitez, Real fire Jose. Roman offers Jose the Chelsea job, Jose accepts on two conditions - Lampard gets a 2 year contract, and Torres is sold and the money (about a tenner!) is made available to spend on new players. Roman accepts Jose's conditions, Jose takes the job. The Fat Spanish Waiter gone, the Special One back, Super Frank staying, Torres missing the net for some other team, Chelsea fans happy as anything, and all is well with the world.
