andy
I was the first to laugh when Newcastle appointed him, only because they got what they deserved.. Chelsea have player power but thank god we we haven't got fan power like The Toon.. judging from the comments made by you lot this week  ;) Anyway ... Possibility of heart bypass this week for Joe, which is the same as my own father this week so really struck a chord with me. Wishing Joe all the best for a speedy recovery and well done Joe for taking on the challenge and almost steadying the ship that is not easy task with the sh*t you were given to take over ! but dont make yourself ill over it.. and Dad, stop letching and get better, your too old for those nurses you dirty old scrote. Barn
Good luck to both, Joe's old school and I like him for that (even though I don't think there's much of a place for that in the modern game), sound from the comments about letching that your dad is as well ! Best of luck.

TheWestwayWonder
Andy, best of luck to your dad. I too had a father who underwent a bypass a few years ago now, and he as healthy now as ever. Modern medicine really is a wonderful thing, so I am sure he will be just fine, mate. As for Kinnear, really like the guy and I wish him all the best for his recovery. I hope he can make it back to the touchline someday. It must be tough times if youre a Geordie, seeing Kinnear and Sir Bobby battling for their health
geezer
Both my parents had heart bypasses and they got a good few extra years as a result. It's amazing what can be done these days. Everything will be fine Andy. In fact the heart bypass for my old man was quite amusing afterwards because he was looking to getting back to blowing on his trombone again but the doctors didn't have any guidelines as to how long he should wait before playing it again. The eventual advice given was "if it starts to hurt, stop playing. If your chest bursts open then give up altogether". He was back playing again just 6 weeks later.
