ducavis
Well that is probably it for his Chelsea career as I don't see him here next season. Lesson for Kenyon & whoever is responsible for player acquisitions; no more over-30s you bloody morons!
sergeyMS
Not a big topic, but according to BBC Deco, possibly, has an old injury set-back and won't appear anymore this season. I have nothing against Deco personally, but think his abcence won't affect our strength anyway.
Virosh
Well that is probably it for his Chelsea career as I don't see him here next season. Lesson for Kenyon & whoever is responsible for player acquisitions; no more over-30s you bloody morons! While I happen to agree with you that we don't need any more old players, there is nothing wrong with 30+ old players in a good balance with the rest of the team. Giggs is over 35 I think and he is playing absolutely fantastic for United this season. Zola was at his best with us and that was all after he hit 30. The list goes on. EDIT: Deco out surely depletes the squad and he will be missed as an option in midfield we don't have, but his absence will be nowhere near as big as, say, Frank's or Mikel's. I too feel this was his last game for us. He came to play for Scolari and he fitted his mentality very well. Unless we bring back the S 1, who has said many times he would love to have Deco in his team, I don't see him staying with us. blizeH
Agree with Virosh really. Frank and Drogba are 30+ and potentially our best players right now. But! I still agree that this could be the end of him for Chelsea. Don't blame Kenyon btw, pretty obvious that this was a Scolari purchase imo
evissy
Poor Deco. I like the guy and although he was in the eye of the hurricane when all things went bad this season I don't blame him. He is truly skilled and still could offer us brilliant moments but it might well be curtains for his Chelsea career... Remember Casiraghi, Laudrup, Jokanovic, Deschamps. I think Deco falls into that category of unlucky(risky) buys.

The Moos
Apparently Deco is now in the portuguese squad for the game against Sweden. Does that mean that he's not that injured and might be back soon? I can't understand why he would get picked otherwise. Surely Portugal have other players to chose from?
