I was delighted with what i saw, both on and off the pitch from Riccy. He looks lean, fit, and raring to go. When he plays like this, it seems ridiculous that we even toyed with the idea of losing him.

whoever wrote that seems to have trouble spelling "of".

A mate of mine is a journalist, who writes for the Sky Sports website. He says there are loads of youngsters there in their first jobs and/or (even worse) have joined straight from their "meeja" degrees.

As we know, good spelling and grammar are way down the list of requirements for most journalists!

Most of the Sky stuff is "churnalism" lifted from the wires, other sites and other media.

No excuse for the off/of error though!

are they? im perfect for that job then, ask moi...

I'm afraid, apart from your headline writing skills Loz, you've not got the right qualifications to write for the NOTW based on:

- you know football

- you know the rules

- you know big words

So alas, no job for you.

I think they were actually quoting Ricci directly

I confirm that dickywuh would appear on the surface to have all the qualifications needed for a job at Sky Sports. Although, to be fair, his spelling and grammar are perhaps of too high a quality - his punctuation however gets 9/10 for crapulosity.

Thats the impression I got, that it was how he said it phoenetically. But thats never stopped sky and other outlets from coreecting it in the past.

As for the content, well done Riccy. ::clap2:: Heres hoping he can stay fit all year
