This is the Scotland team to play Holland tonight, according to the BBC.

To be honest Scotland will get beat, every is saying that we can take the Dutch up here, but with players like, Robben, Van Persie, Van Deer Vart, De Jong will just take Scotland apart, which I expect. My heart says 1-0 Scotland but my head says 2-1 to the Dutch. :angry:

Yeah Sneijder's injury wasn't serious as first thought, and Craig Gordon is out, David Marshall steps in, Neil Alexander is a better goalkepper that Marshall imo, people may think I have my blue tinted specs on.

Marshall is a rotten goalkeeper - he is still living off that one game against Barcelona. I don't think Alexander is great but he did well for Rangers when he came in for McGregor and should feel pretty miffed that Walter Smith has now dropped him.

Regardless, GO SCOTLAND!

I have watched the first half an hour of the Scotland vs Holland game whilst waiting for the ENgland game to kick off and Scotland have done alright. Holland, as expected, have had the majority of the ball but Scotland haven't been shamed so far. If Scoland had a little more quality up front then they could get som joy out of what is an iffy Dutch back line.

OMG, 2 excellent saves by the goalie Vorm! How on earth did Scotland not score there? Iffy back four or not, if the strikers can't even score from those chances.... :wub:

To be fair, one Arjen Robben just brilliantly hit the goalie instead of scoring. No need to buy him (if we could buy players, that is) :wub:

Having said that it would appear he is having a fine game against Holland. From what I have seen of the first half an hour and then during England's half time he has made saves which are far superior to the ones Gordon made against Macedonia (which were all fairly routine saves) and Gordon has been called a hero for them.

Miller had a sitter saved by our hero :wub:

Neither team is very impressive, I must say. Apparently it's very hard to convert any of their chances.

Yep, nice one. Elia rounded a defender (don't know which one, a replay is not forthcoming at the moment, could have been Weir) and evaded Gordon, shooting at an awkward-ish angle. The way everybody threw away chance after chance, I expected Elia to miss :wub: !
