Agree. But I really cant see Pato coming. He seems to be very loyal to AC Milan, if you listen to his interviews.

He always says he is committed to Milan but he always says that he would love to link up with Carlo again and i i think earlier in the year he said he would be interested in Chelsea should we have an offer accepted.

If it becomes clear that Jan will be our only hope of signing new talent for a while, surely a move for Aguero or Pato will become even more attractive.

I think both are great options, however Carlo's previous ties with Milan may make Pato the more favourable from his point of view.

I still believe we are that one ''special'' player away from being worldbeaters.

Just read the article the Pato rumour comes from, this is all you need to know to prove it's tripe:

Pato is on the fence with the Milan fans and i wouldn't be surprised if he was unsettled. Reading the Milan forums, they seem too think a huge fee would be ok too let him go. Some think he's the best youngster in world football, i do aswell but this season he has been out with injuries and what not.

However Pato is not the baby face model professional you see on the pitch, apparently he has some sort of "Me Me Me" attitude, i read about it in an interview with Ancelotti when he first came here aswell that he didnt want to play where the manager put him and he doesn't take advice from the more experienced players very well during matches. The kid has passion but he needs to learn a heck of a lot before he becomes anything like the finished article. Not alot of people know this but he has done an Ashley cole but on a webcam with some under cover celebrity exposing blonde!

This kid comes with baggage so a new start may do him a world of good but if he comes to Chelsea i gaurentee the tabloids will expose his Ashley Cole story.

To be fair, if he even comes moderately close to Ronaldo's effect in the PL, I'd deal with his baggage quite easily.

Actually I believe if he had to choose between Real and Us he would choose us. We have Carlo, $$$, and we are not a fraud.

Completely agree. I would much prefer them to get any deals done ideally before world cup, if not as soon after as possible to get the full squad in a pre season together. I hate it when you go into august 31st still with rumours over a player.

It's quite possible he won't make the World Cup sqaud, so if we are in for him it will be done when the squad is announced (if he is in it or not). He's been riddled with injuries and Dunga prefers Nilmar/Robinho/Adriano/Fabiano as he feels Pato/Ronaldinho wont get him the results like the others will or something.

So it's better he doesn't make the squad in my opinion simply because if he did and stole the show his price would go through the roof, it's going to be the same with Aguero but he will make the squad.

His price will be through the roof anyway. I think Milan will want the same kind of money they got for Kaka, maybe more due to his age. I dont think he is worth the money it would take to bring him to chelsea.

If he is injured and not going to SA he definitely wont be moving this summer.

Unless slick Silvio has some kind of backroom deal done, Milan would be fools to sell him when his value is at low ebb (for him: they might get 40-50 million now, but if they sold him at a high point it could be alot more)

Actually i dont think a new striker is what we need, We have Kalou, Drogba, Sturrigde and not to forget Borini, with some more experince could be a good joker.

If we need a new striker i'd prefer to see Agüero in the Blue shirt rather than Pato.

Anelka,Deco, Ballack, Ferriera, is imo finnish in Chelsea FC next season.
