August 8, 201114 yr For some reason Youtubes don't seem to be loading properly. If anyone hasn't listened yet to Mak's Beirut album, I can thoroughly recommend it! Brilliant, Maks. Thanks! Edited August 8, 201114 yr by moi
August 8, 201114 yr You mean this one? http://youtu.be/eIrvYYewvV0 I think the problem is that you've missed out the / in the closing tag, and BlueNose has added an extra space or two.
August 8, 201114 yr No, I meant Maksimov's Beirut album was brilliant. I thought the Mac Miller was less so ( feeling tactful today...)
August 8, 201114 yr No, I meant Maksimov's Beirut album was brilliant. I thought the Mac Miller was less so ( feeling tactful today...) Fair enough. All I wanted to do was show how to get the tags to work. Where is the media button anyway?
August 8, 201114 yr Back on topic, this is kind of thing I've been listening to lately: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oF0GByVctZI Is that good or what?

August 9, 201114 yr great band I just discovered Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. He was in Drive By Truckers before going it alone.
August 10, 201114 yr No, I meant Maksimov's Beirut album was brilliant. I thought the Mac Miller was less so ( feeling tactful today...) I agree Mac Miller is horrible ... At first I thought this was supposed to be a parody but then I realised he is serious.
August 11, 201114 yr No, I meant Maksimov's Beirut album was brilliant... Just noticed that the song "East Harlem" is today's free download at mp3.com: http://mp3.com/free-mp3/beruit-east-harlem/ I will buy the album when it comes out, but I downloaded it so that I can listen to it on my iPod straight away.
August 12, 201114 yr NPR has Beirut's new album as one of their exclusive "first listens": http://www.npr.org/2...ide?sc=fb&cc=fp Got their first album, very good stuff. Will need to get this now too
August 12, 201114 yr Got their first album, very good stuff. Will need to get this now too I've got the first EP and two albums and they're all good. The second album(The Flying Club Cup) is probably my favourite. I haven't bough the "March of the Zapotec/Holland" double EP as I haven't liked it all that much. A friend of mine has it and I've listened to it, but it hasn't really clicked with me like the other ones have. "March of the Zapotec" sounds better than "Holland".
August 13, 201114 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41ohFqkhASU Forgotten how much I love this song. Just heard it for the first time in ages, on Kerrang. Classic!
August 14, 201114 yr Kate Bush - Cloudbusting Great song from a classic album! And the song has such a classic music video, so I thought I'd might as well post it as well: It's one of those videos I remember seeing a lot on television when I was a kid.
August 16, 201114 yr NPR now has the new Stephen Malkmus up for a stream now too. I love Pavement and also most of his solo work as well.
