Ruh Buh Juh
Interesting. Could open up a place for us to make a move on Ireland?
Virosh
I think he would go. If the past season has proven anything, it's that Villa can't mount a serious 4th place challenge. If he wants to play CL football, it is very unlikely it will be in Birmingham. Edited May 17, 2010 by Virosh
TheWestwayWonder
20 million? They could get more for him. I'm sure Spurs and Man Utd would match or exceed that if they have the funds Villans will be pissed if they lose a second talisman in as many years to City Interesting. Could open up a place for us to make a move on Ireland? Definitely. If Milner goes there, he will be done.
PloKoon13
That's bad news. He would be a great acquisition for City.
Barn
I'd prefer us to go for Milner than that rotten little chav Ireland. I don't understand how he could improve our squad? If you want back-up for the first choice then shouldn't we be looking at our youth set-up?

He be a great addition to our squad.
Plavi26
Getting Ireland would be a good and cheap move. Still a young player that can be molded into something decent, and I don't think City could ask anything over 10 million for him, even in todays overinflated world. Milner would be a much better option, and a good replacement for either Ballack or Lampard in the long run, but if we can't get him, then Ireland would come good under Carlo I believe. TheWestwayWonder
Bid has been rejected by Villa, emphatically, and now a 28 m GBP bid is reported from Ferguson. This could be a watershed moment for City's new regime. A bidding war between the Mancs and the Noisy Neighbors should be good, but I dont think Milner would choose city over Man Utd

rahul
Now that the Mancs are fighting over it, we dont need to get involved to drive up his price. Although, we're pretty good at it. Did the same with Glenn Johnson last summer and made Pool to pay 18m(?) for him. :)
