Well for me anyway, much prefer Shearer.Lawreson just seems anti Chelsea, even though we had a brilliant result.I know this was covered already last week, jut had to say it again.

MOTD seemed more concerned with JT's tackle on N'Zogbia than anything else. They showed N'Zogbia leaving his foot in on JT in the first half, and didn't condemn it at all, but when JT made a couple of hard tackles later on they were saying he was lucky to stay on the field. Amazingly, N'Zogbia didn't get booked for his challenge on JT, and nor did he get a yellow card for his hacking down of Ashley later on - funny how they never mentioned that at all, the bunch of biased c*nts.

Lawrenson is a prize c*nt, always has been always will be. The fact that he spoke of England as 'us' in the World Cup, yet he opted to play for Ireland, just about sums the w*nker up. And Lineker is a hypocritical prize twat, it's a shame Vinnie didn't finish the c*nt off in that Dublin restaurant.

I know Bluebeard, I get so wound up by these idiots that I cant find the words sometimes. Like you say The foul on JT was overlooked and was far worse. Just hate these cun**.

Take solace in the fact that us consistently tonking everyone probably winds up the clueless, stunted ex-Scouse mong even more than his on-air bullsh*t winds us up.

Top of the league and we're having a laugh...

some things never change. from March 2009:

Does anyone else find Mark Lawrenson the most irritating, stupid, banal, BORING football pundit on TV?

With his effeminate chirrupping manner of speaking, his spaniel features and - most importantly - his complete inability to add any value or make any comments of interest or insight, it is a real choker to think how much this chump receives out of our licence-fee to do practically nothing.

and my opinion? Lawrenson is a complete waste of space. in fact he doesn't even deserve a thread devoted to his delusions of superiority of his own patented brand of inane bitterness. or maybe that should be bitter inanity. who knows, or cares.

the bloke is a prize prick of the first order, and even in this short post i've already wasted far more time writing about him than he deserves.

Before they showed our match I said to my wife they would barely mention the goals or result afterwards and concentrate on JT`s challenge and I was bang on. What a pathetic pack of c**ts, especially as the worst of all the challenges involved was easily N`Zogbia`s, yet they laughed that one off saying he sort of left his leg in. f**k off, he knew exactly what he was doing the little prick. JT`s so called fouls werent even that, his first was a hard tackle and his second barely even touched the diving little french f**ker.

He's a c**t, as I've said elsewhere - get Chopper on the sofa and break all those smug twats. For a scoured tho - Hanson is all right, so leave him be. Shearer can be twatted too.

I like Hansen, he always says the truth and talks well about us.The rest are twats, Lee Dixon said we need to sign a 'gol scorer' I wont even begin to say anything on that comment.

Did he really say that? What a f**king moron.

He was quite obviously being sarcastic...

Some of you lot are worse than women, a wee remark or two and the hangbags are away.

Who really cares if we don't get the same credit as Utd or whatever.

You do your talking on the pitch.

Theres only so many excuses people can make before they realise we are a bloody epic team.

If truth be told, everyone already knows it.

I've watched some MOTD and they don't come across nowhere near as biased as you'd think reading your comments. IF there is any prejudice on their part, it's very well-covered indeed. If I may use a typical Bulgarian phrase, you are looking for a calf under the ox.

He was obviously being sarcastic, I'm afraid.

To be perfectly honest, I've never noticed Mark Lawrenson do anything wrong on MOTD. I'd much rather see Alan Hansen and him than Hansen and anyone else. Hansen is the best pundit they have, and Lawrenson is second because neither Dixon nor Shearer can analyse, full stop.

For the record, I fully agree that Lawrenson is a cliche-spouting, sheep-intelligent, droopy-looking know-it-all, who has f**k all of value to say on the subject of football. Just not a (seemingly) biased one.

So does it not bother you when the best we get called is "functional" which seems to be the latest way of not giving us any praise? In fact im sure Lawrenson said we were "machine like" on saturday.

Mate it doesn't really bother me.

If people use Mark Lawerensons points of view as gospel and can't think for themselves they will never understand football and their opinion will remain worthless

i think you're confusing two different issues here. Lawrenson is an annoying prick, and i really can't stand him.

on the other hand, there was absolutely nothing even remotely anti-Chelsea in anything Lee Dixon said. he was simply being mildly humorous: "oh look Chelsea have scored 12 goals in two games, it's obvious they need another striker" .. chuckle, chuckle. that's all there was to it. i don't mind Alan Hansen either, he speaks knowledgeably, usually and naturally enough, from a defender's point of view. he's also a lot more impartial than most other ex-Liverpool players, even non-Scousers like that prick Ray Houghton.

Lawrenson is another matter entirely, but i'm not going over all that again.

Well none of them ruined MOTD for us last night, mainly because they said next to sod all about us. the current league leaders, knocking in goals for fun were shown next to last and announced as "now lets see the other 2 games".

i was pissed off that we were 2nd last, last season it seemed manchester united were always first unless there was a top 4 clash on,and so far i dont think weve been first once?

champions obviously arent worthy of being shown first on bbc, pathetic.

I don't know about MOTD staff, but if I were the producer of that show, I'd stick the most interesting stuff late on in the show and put the less interesting stuff first so people would have to watch the whole show to see the most interesting stuff.

MOTD has never been like that though. they've always started with what's deemed to be the most interesting/main Match of The Day, which generally gets a lot more air time devoted than the other games. the main match often featured the current leaders, except when there was a big derby game. unless we're on top of the table of course. after the main match, they move on to the most significant games, affecting the top and/or bottom of the table, and then the "and finally's" for which they usually show just the goals.

ii don't want to get into the "everybody hates us" thing, but all too often it does seem we don't get the credit we deserve. even on the first day of the season... after a 6-0 win our performance was described as powerful ... Man U beat newly promoted Newcastle 3-0 and were "magnficent".

but back to Lawrenson. wasn't it him who last season described one of our 7-0's as "the most boring 7-0 win i've ever seen"?

Posted

but our 2-0 win was hardly the most exciting game theve ever shown, and even wolves were shown before us.

i believe your right about what lawreson said about our win over villa...he said villa could easily have won had it not been for the penalty decision but then went onto say villa made it easy for us.
