Titus Bramble has been arrested over allegations of rape. Now we dont know the story behind it or if hes innocent or guilty, but why do footballers keep getting themselves in to these positions. You would think they would try and keep their heads down after all the crap thats gone on lately. Linke here by the way - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wear-11387989

I'm going to say this because it's something you men may not like to post.

If a woman agrees to go into a hotel room with a man, what does she think is going to happen? Does she think "We'll just have a little cuddle, then go home?" Eh?? What???

Oh dear... And his brother did it with him?? Are they idiots??

No, MIksTAw, there is a woman SAYING that he/they did it, which is not necessarily the same ting.

I agree there is as much chance she has probably regretted what happened and could be making it up as much as there is they have actually done it. But that`s my point, why do they put themselves into this position knowing what could happen.

Sexist!

Sounds like at the very least he's shown very poor judgement here.

Well indeed, that's for sure. Drink had probably befuddled a judgement that may not be great at the best of times.

In order to remove the sexist element from my post, I will add that if a man agrees to go into a hotel room with a woman, he also must know what is expected of him.

£1200 seems to be the going rate for footballers...

the difference beteen a woman going into a Hotel room with a man and a man going in with a woman is basic freedom of choice..if I went into a Hotel with a Woman and decided after ten minutes I would rather not have sex with her I would leave, If the woman decided she didn't want to have sex with me she could leave.

a man usually is able to leave no matter how the woman feels about it, If the woman involved could not leave when she wanted, no matter how late in the day there lies the problem and the difference.

Yes, this is true, Chippy. I suppose I have trouble imagining why people of either sex would enter a hotel room without having made up their mind what they were going to do. But indeed, if that were the case, it is easier for a man to wriggle out!

What about checking out the mini bar? The pubs may have closed already, you know!

some hotels have nice dressing gowns and really fluffy towels. Though, if all you have is your tiny handbag, getting them out my pose a problem - You could always steal the little shower gel bottles though! Tuck 'em in yer pants of your handbag is too small, or full of teabags and biscuits

It's beginning to sound like you have Liverpudlian ancestors, Kev!
