I tend to agree with the earlier assessment that this is just another link to a Porto player. If the press are to be believed we've pursued and been snubbed by a good half Porto's regular starting XI.

Also for some reason I had the impression Pereira was a right wing back (don't ask me how), another left sided player is obviously a lot lower on the list of priorities.

Forget the release clause, are you saying we'd bid £25m(or cash+player to the tune) for a backup left-back. £15.7m is too much if you ask me. But, its probably rubbish anyway as you say.

As I said its mostly just rumours so I wouldnt be getting any of their names on your shirt just yet. I cant see us getting all 3, perhaps 2 of the 3 though that would be pretty exciting anyway.

He's good. I always thought it was his style of play that made him look pacey. I don't think he's actually that fast. Kind of contrary to Nico, who is very fast, but plays at a slower pace.

He is apparantly quite a level headed lad as well. Heard a reporter on radio saying he is in no rush to move on as he knows he can still develop at Lille & has plenty of time for big things. Lets hope Lille need the cash.
