Im glad infinity ward managed to develop this game despite almost going bust, it wouldnt be the same without them, i cant say im excited about multiplayer as we will probably see the usual hype and all the improvements before playing it and finding all the same flaws as previous games but i cannot wait to finish the saga that so far has been brilliant and extremely fun to play.

i'll add more to this thread as more news comes about.

bit disapointed about this one, feels like the same game but with a different story really, surely a few stuff added but online gets boring after a week like it usually does!

Think the new battlefield is out on the same day so will probably get that instead!

I'll be going for the new battlefield over MW3.

I've always enjoyed the BF series more.

Can't wait for this!

Are you having a laugh Andrea? Not if you play it properly! Get your arse a PS3 and will see you on there!

Get a 360 and you can try and convince me that its fun again!

Not sure whats wrong with the folks running the COD franchisee but the rate at which they are releasing their titles is taking away some of the aura.

I'm not much of an online gamer, so I probably won't be buying this. I do enjoy the campaigns a lot though with the crazy, over-the-top scenarios they have been dreaming up. Figure I'll rent it or borrow it from a friend a bit after it comes out.

I dont think they will ever recreate the magic of the first modern warfare, it was simple but brilliant. Then for me they just added so many new features to the new games to the point where it just got too much, MW2 was ruined by stupid killstreaks in my opinion.

Im looking forward to the new battlefield more than this but i know i'll purchase MW3 with the hope it is near the level of the first one.

For anyone who is a fan of the MW series, check out the 12min long Battlefield 3 trailer on YouTube. Prepare to be amazed. Out, also in early Nov.

Wow! another Call of Duty game zzzzzzzzzzzz

Where is the innovation these days? countless Fifa and Call of Duty releases, not to mention various other first person shooter clones of Call of Duty.

Still plenty of innovative games out there if you look beyond the blockbusters to be fair. Bioshock is one of the best and most atmospheric games I have ever played.

Just pre-ordered BF3, £39.99 and it aint ready till end of October :o

I keep doing things like that, then forgetting I pre-ordered it. I will be thinking about buying a game and it will land on my door mat :laugh2: I have actually bought a game in town then had it delivered the day after...whoops.

Sounds very familiar, I have games here still in their sealed package, mainly FPS games, the only games I'm not really into is sci-fi stuff. Now I just need a rig to play BF3 on, I dont think my netbook will handle it :laugh2: Looking for a decent laptop for gaming, got any ideas ?

Bioshock Infinite is going to be excellent if it's as good as the first two.

Even the storyline for it is exciting.
