From 1987 when the club signed a sponsorship deal with Commodore. Looks like David Mellor on the right hand side. Mellor is not wearing a Chelsea shirt or did he only wear it for special occasions. Those of us who are of a certain age will remember the scandal he was involved in. He used to sit alongside Tony Banks. Very different political views but united in a love of Chelsea.

No, please do. It would be interesting to know how many people who watched the first game at the Bridge were around for our first league title and our first FA Cup win. I suspect there were a few, especially for the first league title.

Liverpool's attendance record was recently broken. The previous record was set in 1949 when CHELSEA were the visitors

Liverpool will set a club record for the biggest home league crowd in their history when Burnley visit Anfield on Saturday.

The upper tier of the redeveloped Anfield Road stand will finally be fully open – boosting capacity to around 60,000.

The current record attendance for a league match at the stadium stands at 58,757 against Chelsea in December 1949

I was at the Munich game 66. In Munich for the Champions League final , I got in a cab and chatted to the driver who was a Munich 1860 fan and who attended the home leg . !
