Ken Bates when he was chairman of Oldham in the 1960s, had a dream of building a new a new stand and incorporating a hotel and leisure facility. The rest of the board weren’t as ambitious and he left in 1968.

@Boyne the match programme was given as part of the entrance fee, another of Ken’s ideas

Jimmy Greaves has just scored the third of his four goals in his last game for us against Nottingham Forest.

Jimmy Greaves carried on the shoulders of fans as he bids farewell to The Bridge. 29th April 1961.

The Rising Sun: Still shake my head in disbelief, when I see the cars parked like in the top picture and in front of The Shed!

 I half expect to see Arthur Daley or Boycie, trying to sell one of the cars while the game is being played

When I was a kid I was always getting into trouble, if I played football anywhere near a parked car!😀😀
