The legendary Dynamo Moscow match in Nov 1945. Always liked this picture.

Not sure when this photo was taken. I think it's from 1994 and could be either the game against Wolves in the QF of the FA Cup or at the end of the season when the old Shed End closed.  Any ideas?

Had a big clearout in my attic the other day and came across files from my student days in the early 80s. Found this interview with then captain Micky Droy in the build-up to our epic 2-0 FA Cup win over Liverpool in 1982:

A great night at Upton Park. Had a great view of Pat's header. Can't recall him scoring many with his head. Difficult to believe that it's nearly 40 years ago. The win was not long after they beat us 4-0 at the Bridge. So nice to get revenge. Will be great to beat the pikeys tonight.

Peter Bonetti at full stretch for a cross at Brighton. FA Cup. 18th Feb 1967.

A 1-1  draw watched by 35,000.

We won 4-0 in the replay the following Wednesday.

 

Sept 1983. That season !😀  A 2-1 win at The Goldstone Ground. King Kerry scored both goals for us.
