Yes, JJ never pulled out of a tackle and was not afraid to put his head where it hurts. The fist pump to us, home and especially away, was brilliant and got us fired up. Rest easy JJ.

I remember Ron Tindall scoring a hat-trick at home against Newcastle …. All three with his head! Ron also played first class cricket for Surrey and it was usually the end of September before he was ready to play for us ….
