We wore an all white strip once in 1963-64 and the all white strip was our 4th choice strip in 1964-65.

 

We wore this white and blue away strip, at Villa Park in Sept 1963 when we lost 2-0.

Got it. I mean googled it.

That all white strip.  We wore at Villa Park on Mon 31st Aug 1964 in a 2-2 draw.

We'd only just played them at The Bridge on Wed, 26th Aug 1964 when we won 2-1 !

Both were League games.

At the end of the 1963/64 season, Chelsea headed to The Caribbean for a number of friendlies against various national sides and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

This itinerary belonged to one of the members of the Chelsea party.

The traveling side opened up with a 7 – 0 win over Barbados, and beat St James in Jamaica a whopping 15 – 0 midway through the series.

Chelsea’s Caribbean tour only last 17 days, but they played a total of 11 matches which may explain the 2 – 1 loss to Haiti in the final game of the series.

They beat Wolves on three occasions during the tour, and lost on a further two.

Dave Sexton drinking from the FA Cup on  a window ledge, no health and safety concerns back then.

The Doc and Harry Medhurst, not sure about the game though. Hope I ain't got this mixed up though, if that's Harry then the Doc's still at Chelsea and not at United !
