A very good result for us that day, considering how good Liverpool were that season and how poor we were,

LWT's Big Match featured Peter Barota's first game for Chelsea

The debuts of both Petar Borota and Jim Docherty. Two players with differing careers with us.

Tommy Doc chaired by delighted players after we won promotion in 1963 by beating Portsmouth 7-0.

I heard a few days after the match that in the players bar afterwards, Speedie punched Clive Walker.
