I always knew that my obsession with late 60s/early 70s sticker albums and bubble gum cards would come good one of these days. It's Andy Lockhead of Burnley, my life is so empty.

In the immortal words of the great Homer J "But every time I learn something new, it pushes out something old. Remember that time I took a home wine-making course and forgot how to drive?" I'm going to stay in my old man bubble, it's a safe place where I can tell Keith and Henry Newton, or even Ron and Wyn Davies apart.

What really gets me is that lots of players - the Charltons, Lochhead, Coates, Moncur, Rodrigues to name but 6 - looked like really old men when I was a kid. Fast forward fifty years and I watch old footage of these players, and they still look 30 years older than me, even though I'm 58. Weird.

Very true mate, I'm gonna add John McCormick of Palace, Harry Cripps at Millwall, Nobby Stiles and Alan Gilzean.

I only added the photo as part of the exchange between me and MKBlue - no Chelsea link that I'm aware of (maybe a guy who lived in the same street as him once drank in a pub that a relative of Billy Gilmour's once had a pint in).

I was trying to work out the Chelsea link too. He played in the same Scotland team as Eddie Mac in 1967 that beat England at Wembley 3-2. About as much a Chelsea link as I can think of
