League Cup win 1965.  Terry Venables collects the trophy at Filbert Street. Then has a drink from it with The Doc.

We won 3-1 in front of 51,390.

Not sure if the above picture caption date is correct as I've checked and this game was midweek !

The above picture might well have been on Feb 20th 1965

On this date was a Saturday, when we played and Beat Spuds in the FA Cup !

Barry Bridges scored in the 17th min and we won 1-0 in front of a crowd of 63,205.'

This would make more sense.

A packed crowd at The Bridge in the mid 1960s.

Just liked the picture.

Even if the scoreboard didn't show who we were playing you could tell it was QPR due to the lack of away fans.
