You're right. I saw the picture on Facebook and it said 1965. I should have checked. I blame the beer and whisky. erskblue and The Rising Sun

Boyne
From 1970. The FA Cup semi-final at Three Point Lane. The pitch was as bad as that for the final. We beat Watford 5-1. erskblue and The Rising Sun

Went there via National Express Coaches opening game 1982. We won 1-0. Didn’t win much on the road that season. erskblue

Loads climbed in over the turnstiles! erskblue
Fruit Bat
Went there 83/84. Turned a corner and there was a transit van of blokes milling around wearing Viking horn headwear. A West Ham mate at school went there in 81, and was quite shocked by goings on, on the long walk from the station. A bit industrial and rough round the edges Cambridge, quite unlike the public perception. strider6004, erskblue and The Rising Sun 2

Gate 13
A few of our mob did much the same at Cambridge in 81/82 or thereabouts, not as many but they made the effort.

I'm waiting to see if much is running before I decide what to do . Hi mate, I travel in from South-East London. Train in should be okay but going home could be fun. May have to use tube, DLR and bus. Have you got far to travel? Fortunately it's not a late kick-off. I remember a couple of games last season when there was a strike and got home in the early hours. Bloody rail strikes.
