And now the Far Cry 6 gameplay trailer has been shown.
 

The scope of the game looks incredible. I’m a sucker for open-world Ubisoft though, so I am usually positive about their games. Though I found FC5 the worst of the series so I’m glad they are looking back on form with the new one. Old crumbling city, forests, beautiful beaches and a pet crocodile! Yes please.

Gave it another go....

Got hooked. Been playing it non stop and I've now completed it. The game becomes a whole lot more rewarding and less tedious once you've got a big base set up with all the tools you need. Also realised saving the game whenever you're at 'safe' spots means you don't have to deal with the frustration of losing vehicles.

Yeah I saw that as welll. I’m a big fan of the far cry games. 4 was great and I did like 5 though the weird spooky stuff was abit odd.

Occulus quest? My mate brought his in to work to try a few weeks ago, was pretty good, some robot fight thing but it's still pretty limited as a stand alone piece if kit.

Got the Oculus Rift S. Only done a tutorial and a free shooting game from Steam, but seems pretty cool. 

Got Dying Light super duper edition for a couple of quid, always heard good things about it but never got around to it. 
 

Enjoying it so far, was expect the ‘parkour’ element of it to be honest but it’s fun trying to plan a route over the roof tops.

I was worrying about masses of zombies on the ground in the beginning but so far they’ve proved pretty tame. Just lead them to a narrow area and kick away  I hope they get a bit more difficult!

Fantastic game and they’ve kept it going by adding lots of content. I played when it was first out and it’s a shame I’ve missed the newer content (never fancy replaying games).  I just wish it was 3rd person as I’m not a fan of first person games generally 

@Blueblur loving AC Valhalla. So much more polished than Odyssey and the world seems incredible and massive. 
 

Plus it feels like you’re playing Games of Thrones!

Very much enjoying it but I’ve stopped playing so I can do it coop with a mate

Yes yes YES. Polished is the right word. Side-quests happen more organically, not just spread about the map chaotically like Odyssey. The story quest arcs are self-contained which is a better structure. Game of Thrones indeed. I loved stomping on people’s skulls once knocking them down, brutal stuff. It’s a lonnnggg game though, took me about 90 hours to conquer all the counties in England.

I’m still very early on so my fighting abilities are still very limited. Odyssey was very good but the flaws were very easy to spot. Seems they’ve fixed them.

Ha - yes I’ve collected 2 of those so far. What I liked was having to search for them and they’re hidden. Nice quirk.

Some of them are utterly enraging to find! You can hear the vibrating/mystical noise it makes but end up running around in circles trying to locate it!

Oh jeez - I haven’t played that yet, not sure it’s available on console. Been really looking forward to it though so you’ve gone and broken my little heart!

Yes I bought it on day one and completed it. As someone who used to work in central London I marvelled at the accuracy of the depiction- I spent a lot of the time driving around looking for my old haunts.

My old office building in Vauxhall (found it, right next to the MI:6 building!) was there, and then driving round to pubs I used to go to (Barrow Boy and Banker, Lloyds at Camden Lock etc) which I also found. 

The game itself is good fun but nothing more, and truth be told I think Watch Dogs 2 is slightly better, but I had been waiting for a modern game set in London for sooo long that I enjoyed it.

Building up a team of recruits with different skills adds a different dimension to things and riding the controllable drones across the Thames was cool. 

If you can get it for cheap, I’d say buy it.

Interesting. The first watchdogs was a little disappointing but you can’t beat that GTA type of game. It seems pretty cheap so I’ll get it at some point.

my lad is playing WWE Battleground - what a fun game that is. They’ve done it perfectly and much better than the normal WWE games.

Every game is the same and you wish they didn’t feel the need to them all bulk out with constant repetitive side fetch and return quests.
