Bought Far Cry Primal from the PS store as it was only £8. Pretty decent so far.

Started playing Watch Dogs Legion to pass time before kick off. I think I’ll be bored of it once I’ve explored London a bit.

What’s it like so far? I liked the first one but couldn’t get into the second.

I didn’t like the first one and never bothered with the second 

Honestly played it for an hour yesterday and haven’t thought about it since, feels like a poor mans GTA.

Yeah that was the impression I got as well. Problem with Ubisoft is that it feels like a rinse and repeat of other games.

Ordered a Quest 2 at the weekend to pass the time over the Easter holidays. Beat Saber, Super Hot and Tetris Effect all look like things I will enjoy, I'm wondering if anybody else has any recommendations?

So I thought I would have a quick look at Skyrim with the FPS boost thing on Xbox One, god its like a different game. I then went into the mods and added loads of them, and then played it for 5 hours on Saturday night 😃

Got sick of playing Call of Duty and the lack of any new PS5 games meant I had to look elsewhere. 

I bought Nier Automata. 

I played it when it first came out and something about it just didn't click with me and I traded it back in within the first week of buying it but thought I would give it another try. 

Got into a bit more this time around. The story is about as nonsense as you'd expect from a Japanese game but the multiple endings things is a novelty and it's been nice to have something different to play. 

Waiting for Returnal to release which comes out next month. Then I'm planning on picking up Ratchet & Clank and Deathloop as and when they come out on PS5. Other than that the release schedule is looking a bit bleak for new games at the moment.

Bleak for games and consoles! Although rumour has it Sony are finally able to step up production now and there’ll be more available.

It’s very bleak at the moment for PS5. Finished playing Valhalla and Spider-Man and nothing else tickles my fancy.

I’m playing my Switch more than ever, just started another playthrough of Breath of the Wild and it just confirms for me that it’s one of the greatest games ever made. SO PRETTY. 

I’m also thinking of getting the new Monster Hunter game, though I’ve not played any of them before. 

 

Subnautica is free in the PS Store for a bit...

So my brother, who hasn’t bought me a birthday present for god knows how long, not only managed to get himself a PS5 but sneakily got me one and managed to keep a it hidden for god knows how long. The bastard.

I loved it - it’s a bit buggy sometimes so just make sure it’s saving properly before ploughing any serious time in to it. Mistake I’ve learnt from already 

Subnautica is great, until you get further in and need to find 2 f**king diamonds.....

I didn’t have much of a problem finding things, I got carried away building a massive base with everything I needed/knew where to go to find things. 
 

I found piloting a certain thing through a certain area at the end a ball ache mind!

I did OK, but then needed 2 diamonds to be able to progress the game but only found 1 after literally hours hunting. Gave up after that ha ha...

Finally started God of War. What an incredible game- his relationship with his son being the driving force of the story. Runs like a dream on my PS5, no loading times really and it looks high def AF.

Combat is very satisfying too, being able to throw my axe like Thor and summon it to return to my hand at will like Mjolnir. Plowing through draugr and dark elves like butter

I’ve been wandering around for hours on watch dogs legion looking for a video game developer to recruit for one trophy. I’ve got this a several other tedious ones to get for the 100%.
 

Why do developers bother with this sh*t, it can’t bring anyone joy and it makes me question my sanity for doing it

I gave up trying to find one. Apparently the best place to look is Southwark but I never had any luck finding the son of a bitch 

What’s everyone playing at the minute? It’s abit dry out there at the minute isn’t it. Hardly any new games, lack of PS5s. 
 

I’m replaying Hero Zero Dawn. Forgotten that it’s such a good game. 

Cannot get off Fallout 76, a lot of the early bugs have been ironed out and runs much better than it did. Big update later today again. Finished all the main missions the other day. It’s addictive once you get into it and level up.

Played Zero Dawn a few years ago and didn’t go back to it, so downloaded again.

Waiting on Far Cry 6 as far as new games coming.

Have been missing a few things on PS5 and still prefer the UI on PS4. No themes is a kicker and trying to leave a voice party is confusing sometimes. Other than a bit of faster loading here and there, it’s not really been that impressive.

Got Oddworld Soulstorm for free - forgot how annoyingly hard side scrollers can be
