This was a buzz, its not loud enough to notice when there's sound from a game but when there's not it's horrible. He's getting a replacement so all isn't lost.

January 12, 20215 yr Just a heads up for those with a PS4, you can save any free ps plus games via a web browser to your library. and then when you get a PS5, you can download them to your PS5.

I have so many games saved I’ll never play I’m actually really enjoying Mafia 3 despite its bugs, if anything it’s got a great soundtrack.

The main one I had was certain points of the game not progressing meaning but you just off yourself and it works That happen three times in a row early on and not since. The other stuff if pretty superficial...
January 18, 20215 yr Thinking about trying to get a PS5 on pre order but it looks very competitive with the limited stock and fighting for pre-orders. Anyone got any tips?
January 18, 20215 yr Really interesting article on the development issues of Cyberpunk. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-16/cyberpunk-2077-what-caused-the-video-game-s-disastrous-rollout?utm_source=url_link

Not gonna wait up at 3am desperately trying to order one. Think it might be a few months yet before we can walk into a shop and get one.

Anyone got any tips? Try the HotStock app. It sends you alerts when an item comes back in stock- its what I used to get my PS5 back in November. You have to be quick though, they sell out in seconds! But I'll echo what @dansubrosa said, there is no rush to get one. There are hardly any games out for it. I have Miles Morales and AC: Valhalla which are more than keeping me occupied for now, but of course both are available for PS4.

Yeah I think I want to wait to let games build up so when I do get one, I’ll have stuff to play on it. I got the PS4 early and was waiting around for new games which was annoying.
February 6, 20215 yr What’s everyone playing at the minute? I’m still ploughing my way through AC Oddessy, at level 25 now. Such a huge game. Definitely getting my £16’s worth that I paid for it.

February 6, 20215 yr Replaying Control as it was on PS+ this month. Performs so smoothly on PS5 compared to the frame rate drops I constantly got when I originally played on PS4. It's got the DLC included which I hadn't previously played either... That said I've almost got the platinum again since it was available on Tuesday.

February 10, 20215 yr Still playing Valhalla. 80 hours and I’ve just completed the main quest, conquered all of England. Now I’m doing the treasure tombs and other side-quests. I’ve enjoyed it so much, as much as Odyssey. I’m now patiently waiting to see what Zelda games Nintendo re-release for the 35th anniversary in a couple of weeks for my Switch. I’ve also just discovered a new podcast which does deep-dives into games- it’s called Cain and Rinse. Anyone heard of it? Highly recommended if you’re a gaming geek. March 1, 20215 yr I’m on level 37 of AC Oddessy. Really enjoying it, great game. It’s starting to be a little long now though - the constant levelling up and grinding becomes tiresome. Still, can’t complain.
