Never sold on the Dutch league tbh.

I remember Kuyt and Kezman scoring for fun when that league was stronger but didn't exactly do the same here.

We have a good relationship with his club, and if the price is not too high why not we need another option up front.

The only issue I would see is what do we then do with lukaku? Him and someone like Falcao rotating as our main forward might be our best way forward.

Not for me. We're in danger of spending too much time looking for a "new" Drogba. Like we were when we signed Lukaku who we seem to have signed simply for his size and resemblence to Drogba, since for his first year here he could barely control a football.

Why not take a gamble on this lad, he wants to play for us and hes at vitesse where we have several loan players out.

Could be worth the risk in the end!

Not really.

Bony's nearly 24 whereas Lukaku was 18 when we signed him. Lukaku was linked to the likes of Real Madrid and considered one of the premier prospects in Europe. I don't recall Bony being linked to anyone noteworthy before he said he wanted to play for us. I know Aston Villa took a look at him but they chose to sign Benteke instead.

Bony may be a worthwhile addition, but I don't think there's much of a resemblance to Lukaku at all.

I dont know a whole lot about this guy but im pretty certain he is nothing like Carrol whatsoever...

According to the Sunday Telegraph Newcastle have made a bid of 12 Million pounds for him. 16 goals in 18 games this season in the Belgian league, would probably be a great signing for them IMO.

That's not possible, as he's not French.

He actually plays in Holland and goals in Holland doesn't mean goals in England. But for that price he's worth a punt.
