Tough to say what could happen here. Nobody is optimistic and that's for a good reason. But I don't think we should be afraid of anyone, let alone Newcastle. Even with this lineup we still have the quality to prevail...

I still think we will not lose I can see GP's plan coming together gradually, slowly but definitely.
you have to know what to look for, and be a connoisseur of the beautiful game. It doesn't matter as long as the plan, the project takes shape before our eyes.. .
I'm not wrong you know just wait till full time and heap praise upon me. Now where did I put my tablets ?

I actually have a good feeling about this - 2-0 to us. Hopefully Hall is rewarded with his performance wednesday with a start

mourad91 reacted to Valerie in Christian Pulisic - OfficialThere are the 2 opposite extremes, namely Hazardouschoice and yourself. HC manages to insert a very negative opinion on Pulisic whatever the subject, and you are blind to Pulisic's shortcomings and blame everything and everybody else when he's not playing or not delivering on the pitch. You called a much loved former head coach an arsewipe, not even Benitez has been called that. You wouldn't know, though, you're not a Chelsea supporter.
Anyway, remove those extremes from the discussion, and you'll see pretty much everybody who ever posted about Pulisic thinks he's been frustrating, underwhelming or downright sh*t for the past 2 years or so. That includes the views of Americans who are Chelsea supporters, by the way. Chipping in with the odd goal does not equal deserving a starting place, nor does it warrant organising a system around him. What every Chelsea supporter wants (again, you wouldn't know) is for the team to do well, and when certain players are not contributing to that, we will vent. You are so blinded devoted to one single player that you're convinced that criticism is the same as hatred, and you throw in some national bias for good measure.
None Chelsea supporters have always been welcome on this forum, and therefore so are you. What others have realised though, and you haven't, is that the forum is about a club, not a group w**k over one player.

mourad91 reacted to just in Chelsea v Wolves (PL) Sat 8th Oct 2022 15:00 GMTIt would be very unfair, (and IMO would also make us weaker), to leave RLC out of the starting lineup after his performance against Milan.

It's every game at the Bridge though. This isn't a one off.

People have regularly said 'it's a different story playing against teams that will defend in numbers'
But also highlight how many goals his teams scored
So why is the argument 'its a different story when you have a better quality squad' conveniently ignored?
Of course Brighton would struggle to set the world alight in terns of goals scored. They were underdogs in probably 90% of games they played.
For me it's about looking beyond pointless stats which fail miserably to make a credible argument.

mourad91 reacted to Sconnie Blue in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager3 at the back wasn’t the issue. It’s the tactics.
We saw the same slow, lethargic, recycled possession play in a 433 and 424.

Mark Pulisic anyone? I hear that he's coached the Rochester Rhinos....

This entire saga has been so embarrassing for Chelsea. I wish nothing but the worst for the rest of Lukaku's career now.
