'could be out the title race and the CL this time next week.'

FFS. Some of these journalists need to wind their necks in.

First off, it's fairly unlikely we won't qualify now. Still possible, but unlikely. We may however, have to settle for second which could mean we face the likes of Barca or Real in the next round.

Secondly, correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't there still six months left in the football season? And they are saying if we fall a potential seven points behind this weekend, we are out?

F**k off. United blew an 8 point lead at the top in APRIL to lose the title to City. It's 38 games, we're only 12 games in. Some people are total Drama Queens.

True. Even if we lose both tomorrow and this weekend we're hardly out of anything.

It will be out of our hands though, but that's hardly the end of the world.

Lose against Juventus and Shakhtar wins - we have to win our last game against Nordsjaelland (should be able to do that) and have to rely on Juventus to beat Shakhtar (very difficult, but not impossible).

Lose against ManC and ManU wins - we just have to go on and win more games. Both Manchester teams will drop points more than once this season, so seven points is far from impossble to gain on them.

Hold on, if it goes that way would we qualify ? that would put Juventus on 12 points, Shakhtar on 10, and Chelsea on 10. 2nd place would be settled on head to head but who would go through, us or Shakhtar ?

If we lose tomorrow then the best way for us to qualify is for us to beat Nordsjaelland and Shakhtar beat Juventus.

Right.

Moos' scenario would see Juve win the group and Shakhtar take second.

If we lose tomorrow, then we need Shakhtar to beat Juve.

Frankly I'll be disgusted if the two teams that advance from this group aren't us and Shakhtar.

Everybody assumes that Shaktar will beat Nordsjaelland tomorrow. Lets not forget that Nordsjaelland made us work hard for our win there earlier in the group, and they also drew with Juve at home. I'd say a dra is very possible in that game tomorrow too. If we lose tomorrow I think our best chance of going through is for Shaktar to draw. Then our fate would still be in our own hands in the last game.

Thats the way I see it.

Where is the final group game between Shakhtar and Juventus?

If it is at Shakhtar I would be fairly confident of them taking all 3 points, especially as they will essentially be playing to win the group won't they?

You're right. I counted wrong. If we lose to Juventus, then Shakhtar has to drop points against Nordsjaelland. That gives us a chance, right?

Note to self: don't try doing math late at night

Guys, Guys, Guys.

We play at our best when our backs are against the wall. Crunch time tonight and I can see us winning this. Can't. f**king. Wait.

If we lose tonight and Shaktar win, we are relying on Juventus and Shaktar playing a 'proper' match out in their final game, a draw would see both progress at our expense irrespective of what we do in our final game.

A draw tonight and a win against the Danes should see us through, I'm not worried about the league, we are in our traditional yearly "bad moment" (tmCarloAncelotti...)

Come the spring we will go on a good run and hopefully get one of the top four spots...

We've already beaten Spurs and Arsenal, were robbed against Manure, and we'll see how we look against City on Sunday...

On the plus side Q(uite) P(ossibly) R(elegated) look certain to go down this season, which makes me happy..

Thats the way I see it.

The Shakhtar manager Lucescu is a huge fan of italian football. He managed Brescia and Inter and has a lot of contacts in Italy.I can guarantee you if they need a draw to get through that will happen.
