Can't blame him. Where he is now is supposed to be a massive dive. I heard the players train somewhere else & only go down there for the games (not sure if that true, it was on talksh*t fm)

Was thinking this was a blow, though he wasn't an immediate prospect I'd say he's one of only 3 or 4 who are good enough to manage Chelsea.

Loved Guus, as we all did. Second best manager I've ever seen at Chelsea. Obviously the first was Phil Scolari.

But this sounds to me like Roman could still line him up to be a back room staffer?

That Iniesta goal is on repeat in the Barcelona Hall of Victories (or whatever it's called) at the Nou Camp museum. If enough people had happened to look away at once I would have kicked the screen down but alas, I didn't get the chance.

My favourite Chelsea manager. Gutted when he didn't stay at the end of that season (though Carlo was adequate :) ), was gutted we got AVB instead of him, and was gutted we didn't go for him at the end of last season (he had a termination clause in his contract).

I gave up hopes of seeing him return as manager a few years ago, but I'd love for him to have some sort of role at Chelsea, even if it's just as an advisor. We could certainly use somebody who has a clue about football.

Give him a job here! Bet he could do a lot of good.

And seeing the reaction over hiring Rafa, Roman would do well in grabbing Guus as soon as possible. Might make some relax a bit.

havent watched that for a long time, and now just want to go on a rant about that game like it just happend. god, what happend to that ref? did he get fired?

Hiddink nailed it in his post-match interview; with his first line he points out we missed some very good open chances to seal the deal, outside the penalty chances.

If Drogba and Anelka weren't so wasteful, Iniesta's goal would be an annal in history.
