Saw this posted in a footy group earlier . Liverpool fan taking the football moral high ground .

"When in Roman"...Chelsea fans are starting to sicken me with there useless chants and stupid flags Di Mateo legend Rafa out Fact.....the fact is when the Glaziers and Hicks and Gillett tried to ruin Man U and Liverpool the fans made there feelings noted.....Massive protests and in no uncertain terms told the yanks where to go and let it be known who will be around when there long gone.....now who is the root of all Chelseas evil.....not Rafa or the hundred managers in the last two yrs , one Mr Abramovich....are the chelsea fans taking to the streets or chanting Roman out hardly or he'll take his rouples and f**k off leaving you back where you were but with dignity in tact.....racial referees and sucession of bosses.....keep your blue mouths shut unless you have the balls to direct it where it counts.

The Whinging City ... has now become the Self Rightious City .....

They have a point, however the difference being Roman invests heavily in the club and isnt in it to make money from us, unlike the ex liverpool owners and the current man utd crowd.

The difference is Liverpool have had problems for three years and no real financial clout to get out of it. Chelsea can throw money at the problem. It may not always work but it's a bigger option than Liverpool have.

Liverpool fans taking the moral high ground... about the only thing their club is good at these days. I don't want Roman out and overall he's been good for us. This is just one decision I think he's got badly wrong and we're entitled to say so. Just like you can protest against a new law without demanding the complete overthrow of the Government.

Liverpool fans just don't get it do they ?

Liverpool fans never did.

Meanwhile Benitez continues to cement his status as Liverpool legend/Chelsea saboteur, by initially nullifying the attack on the pretext of shoring up the defence, and then going on to rip the heart out of the defence, leaving morale at an all time low, setting the scene for further disasters, which the lardy-arsed conman will no doubt explain are due to lack of fitness and so forth.

The lying fat bar steward.

Unfortunately hiring FSW is not the only bad decision he has made in recent years.....it's his money he can do what he wants with it, Gillett and Hicks weren't exactly good businessmen over on this side of the pond either.....suck the blood out of the sports franchise, sell and move on...Roman is somewhat different, he is genuinely interested in football but he is a bad decision maker or at least listening to bad decisions by those surrounding him.

History lesson for all you lurking Scousers reading this thread: loyalty is earned at this club.

Roman has earned it through 10 years of spoiling this club to make it the best in the world. He's not perfect but he has the club's best intentions at heart.

Roberto Di Matteo earned it twice over. In three months here, he equalled Benitez's managerial haul after seven years at binfield.

Fatty has done NOTHING to earn it, just further cemented his status as a world class prick

Now, go make a 20 foot flag of Glen Johnson or something.

Not coming on this looking for an arguement but that lines a bit rich.

Is that why so few of you turned up at Cardiff for the 06 charity shield? Champions of England but you don't turn up for the seasons opener, regardless of how you may view the importance,or lack of, of the charity shield, that was your team playing and it was genuinely embarrassing to see that turnout. Credit to the well less than half allocation that did make the effort. They were what I would call genuine fans, none of this 'can't be arsed for the charity shield' attitude, or was Cardiff too far? Not at wembley so you'd have to have made a bit of an effort.

Ok, you're not here for an argument, you're here to score points.

You want to talk about making an effort? There are members of this forum, including myself, who made the effort to go to the likes of Hull, Grimsby, Carlisle, Plymouth, Crewe ... and MIllwall. We made one hell of an effort to go to Millwall. There are people who have followed the club up and down the land through thick and thin, who have seen this club go through the kind of crap that you as a Liverpool fan cannot begin to imagine.

And now we have Liverpool fans coming here tell us that we should get behind the lardy-arsed conman, the fat bar steward who was out of work for nigh on two years, who lost the plot towards the end of his reign at Anfield, and who was ushered out the door in double quick time by Inter Milan. That we should be grateful for the Dream Team foisted on us from above of Rafael Benitez and Bolo Zenden, who himself was only out of the game for 18 months, and who has not one single day's previous experience in management, not does he have any coaching qualifications.

I'm not going to argue with you pal. I'm just going to tell you to mind your own f**king business.

f**k off you Scouse c**t.

That must have taken some thinking up. Didn't come to score points either, just making an observation. When people start braying about loyalty, that was just a bit of a joke. As I said I also fully respect people that went, and that followed their team through the pre Roman days. Believe ne, we know-all about bandwagon jumpers.

Out of interest 'Stevo' - did you go to that one?

What the f**k has it got to do with you.

Regarding the charity shield in Cardiff I came over from ireland the day before the game and my friend travelled at a different time the two boats were full of plastic scousers so please don't think every fan was from Merseyside that day. If you took the Irish everyweek out off anfield you'd have maybe a crowd of 20000 same at most grounds to be fair. Your fan base is based on your passed success littlewoods pumped massive money into Liverpool when no other club had money so your success was helped by the fact you could by players other teams couldn't FACT and that's the reason you have a big support because you have fans from ireland travelling on mass to Every game you might say it's the Irish links in the city if that's the case follow Everton. Your a bunch of pity seeking horrible begrudgen f**kers who can't except that they are not the force them think they are.

............so why did you have more "fans " at Wembley for an FA Cup Semi on the Saturday and a 3/4 empty Anfield the next day on the Sunday for the Hillsbrough Memorial Servivce ????? Doesn't say a lot about you lot does it ?

Many empty seats at Ku Klux Klanfield for European and Cup games in recent years (not to mention their Hillsborough Memorials) so this pikey is no position to crow.

Oops, I forgot, he's not here to crow, or to start a row, he's here to prove just how dignified the scousers are.

For "dignified" read "bitter".

Coming on these boards to bang on about a game 6 years ago. I know you haven't got a lot to crow about, but bloody hell, you can't be that desperate, surely .. ?

What the f**k has it got to do with you.

We'll leave that one then ey Stevo?

In answer to TD, for years I've said that it must be gawling for the lads that used to follow their team up and down the country through all the sh*te times, to be now rubbing shoulders with the glory hunters, and probably unable to get tickets for some of the bigger games. Those same glory hunters that clearly couldn't be arsed with that game.

It amuses me how upset these precious scousers get about us disliking their precious "Rafa".

It must be awful for them, not being able to control us.

Actually, I was never that big a fan. By and large hated the cautious football, and I do mean cautious as no doubt you will recognise soon.

Is the problem Rafa or Roman though? If Roman left now, you're probably in a decent financial position anyway, just might not have the funds for the really big signings for a bit.

You did it the wrong way round. You should have pretended you were here to talk football before proving you were a w**ker.

Said those points about Rafa on here before. Anyway, shouldn't take things so seriously.................................but I was right. Night folks.
