June 7, 201610 yr Characters are only as big as the series makes them, the Hound had a big storyline for a whole season when he took Arya captive, he has a cult status popularity with us viewers too. I'm looking forward to seeing his character develop again. Thought Lovejoy would have a half decent run in the show though....seems not.
June 7, 201610 yr Launch an attack from the rose garden, go look for answers there? who knows! Thought it was another filler episode, agree with others they seem to be just waiting on GGRM to finish the damn book and are bringing in pointless characters - the house with 62 fighters, the small group the hound was with who get wiped out, etc.
June 7, 201610 yr Can anyone explain what the rose drawn on the piece of paper from Maergery meant? That's the banner of House Tyrell isn't it, a single rose?I thought she was just letting Grandma know where her loyalties lay and she was now 'working inside'. Edited June 7, 201610 yr by Blue Exile
June 7, 201610 yr Can anyone explain what the rose drawn on the piece of paper from Maergery meant? i think it was her way of saying do not be fooled i am still one of us

June 8, 201610 yr i love game of thrones but can't deny there's a lot of dumb writing but this part from the last episode maybe tops it all so far how can someone get sliced and stabbed two times in the gut, lost a lot of blood, manage to swim and walk like she only having a stomach cramp, jesus Edited June 8, 201610 yr by havelschayes

Seen a few theories saying that the waif and Arya are the same person, and all this fight is, is a depiction of her inner battle to be the 'new' Arya. And another saying there is no way she wouldn't have known what was coming and she has pouches of pigs blood strapped to her and she is attempting to lure her enemy in thinking she is half dead. Either way I think there is more to it than meets the eye, it's been a slightly 'strange' storyline so far after all.

June 9, 201610 yr first one seems a bit far fetched but the second one does make sense and would explain the dumb writing This is the same series in which a priestess gave birth to a shadow and dragons and giants live. Is anything too far fetched for GoT?
June 9, 201610 yr The season finale will be called 'The Winds of Winter', a title familiar to the book readers eagerly anticipating Martin's as-yet-unreleased sixth novel by the same name. Will be 9 mins longer than normal, enough time for an absolutely epic battle scene.
June 9, 201610 yr This is the same series in which a priestess gave birth to a shadow and dragons and giants live. Is anything too far fetched for GoT? yeah good point !!
June 13, 201610 yr Author Awful episode. Probably the worst yet. GoT on poor form since S6 EP 5. What was the point of Riverrun exactly?
June 13, 201610 yr yes pretty poor, ayra coming back like that from a serious chivving was pretty far fetched, the hounds convo with a man he had just axed in the nuts was laughable, the way danery just strolled back in was cheaply done. all in all pretty disappointing
June 14, 201610 yr If that's Arya done with the many faced God then it was a pointless storyline. Good to see the Mountain finally throw his weight around though.
June 15, 201610 yr I really really like Jaime Lannister. Is that normal? they have turned him into a good guy, same as the books, hope they turn him bad again tbh
June 15, 201610 yr they have turned him into a good guy, same as the books, hope they turn him bad again tbh He is destined to ride off into the sunset with Brienne when Cerse is lynched.
June 15, 201610 yr No chance! I dont think Jamie would even ride Brienne into battle, never midn a love interest.
June 15, 201610 yr so the whole arya many face god stupid storyline's just went out of the window like that i'm glad that it's over seems like benioff & weiss don't know what to do with that mess, can't believe they invest so much time on that and ens it with a very very dumb corny ending awful ep, hopefully next week's battle of winterfell episode will be another hardhome like
