I really really like Jaime Lannister. Is that normal?

One of the best characters in the books along with Stannis.

The thing with Jamie is, he'd be treated as a national hero everyone heard his side of the story about stabbing the mad king. He's no worse than most of the main characters on the show, of course, we shouldn't judge what he does in his spare time with his family members. He's slowly getting back to his old self, just make the show more interesting.

Will we have some penultimate episode marquee deaths in season 6 then....?

Next episode will be a character kill off fest, no doubt about it.

This season has been largely not that violent by GOT standards, next week is going to be a vicious reminder.

Just watched it....f**kING IMMENSE!!!!

Now thats what I call an awesome episode. To think people actually liked the mid-season 9. 

yeah!! that was more like it !!

That was an epic battle, the result was predictable but who cared. All we need now is for the red witch to stich up the 240 stab and arrow wounds the Giant suffered and bring him back for the next season.

 

The season finale is full of suspense and excitement judging by the preview. The Frey never host a party without anyone getting murdered, Cersi will probably light the wild fire, and little finger probably proposed a 3 way with Sansa and ( ?) judging by that awkward moment.

I think the next season is going to be the last one.

The way things are going they're setting everything up to be concluded. I've got my theory on how it'll all end.

Amazing episode! What a battle scene, so good.

A bit mixed on the episode.

 

The battle was intense and creative but too implausible for a series that put so much work previously into making authentic battle scenes.

Hitting someone running away from that distance with a bow was silly, as was the wall of bodies. Also annoying how every major battle in this series ends up with an unexpected cavalry charge at the last minute winning it

.

 

As with the rest of this series, it's a bit obvious it's the TV writers who've taken over from GRRM for the majority of the writing. The "lets fix the world ruined by men" scene brought to mind all the terrible writing involving the sand snakes; weren't the ironborn going to war in order to ensure they'd never subservient again? Why did they so easily enter into a pact that means the Ironborn have even less freedom than they already had?  

 

Twists no longer feel smart and take you by surprise and whereas the early seasons made you feel no one was ever safe and everyone was vulnerable, this season went out its way to try to show how 'badass' some characters are.

 

Think next season has to be the last now as the show is definitely running out of steam

Why would you want the next season to be the last? I hope they give us another 3 or 4 years of entertainment.

The season finale is called "The Winds of Winter", the name of GGRM's next book, which must be imminent.

That will give another one, but likely two seasons for sure.

Would not have mattered though. If ramsay could not have killed him off, he would surely have ordered a volley of arrows. 

Two more seasons left. Prett much confirmed but they'll each have 6 episodes I believe.
