In terms of squad composition, not for me... if this transfer happens we'll miss Rami's tenacity, but hopefully it may spur Chalobah (and, perhaps... RLC) to step up and take his squad place.

I know.  If you have followed this thread for the past couple of weeks you might have noticed that I have been one of the biggest supporters of Pogba.  But if Juventus can potentially get a deal done for Witsel, why couldn't we have?

 

Well, if we have a chance to get Pogba, we may let Juve have a free run at Witsel. In the unlikely scenario they'll decide to sell PP to us, they'll need to spend and bring in some reinforcements. I'd be more than happy to sacrifice Ramires  and miss out on Witsel, if Pogba comes to us.

Witsel signing for Juve will change the whole landscape of the deal, especially if Ramires is included in the Pogba deal.

Witsel is a great replacement for Pogba, similar type of player and Ramires is great for squad depth. Unlikely but not quite over.

Well, it seems like Pogba is demanding a lot of money, it may have fallen through if the ESPN guy is correct.
