I just don't get it with Pogba. For me Matuidi is a really underrated, strong, fast, brilliant football brain, great player.

Matuidi is a bit mindless at times and reminds me of Ramires. His tackling is rather subpar and poor, he's a card risk and gives away lots of stupid fouls. And he was absolutely outclassed yesterday by Kante.

Matuidi would cost twice as much as Kante, but isn't even half the player.

And Pogba is better than Matuidi - smarter, just as fast, technically stronger and a potential game winner, unlike Matuidi. Yes, he's overhyped, but Matuidi is not a player I would be interested in.

I haven't seen much of him so my opinion counts for little, but from what I have he is the symbol of the social media/vine generation. Full of fancy tricks that look great on a highlight reel, but lacks presence and consistency throughout a full match. Having said that I think he was deployed too deep tonight and needs to be nearer the goal to get the best out of him.

International football is a really high level, twice as high as club football, no one since Maradona has been at a consistent high level of performance at International level, it's almost impossible.

Pogba as a player has been getting better every season, before he went to Barca people thought Neymar wasn't worth the hype, now look at him.

Played deeper than he should have tonight which was an absolutely mind numbing decision by Deschamps. He has proved consistently for 2-3 seasons that he is a quality player so I doubt this will effect any valuation of him. In saying that I don't think we're in for a chance to sign him.

You think Portugal is better than Real Madrid?

Id argue knock out stage Champions League level is unquestionably a higher level than international football.

i still stand by my opinion that a player worth 100 million should be putting up 20/30 goals per season and a similar number of assists if to be worth that much. it is why hazard is worth nowhere near that atm until he becomes more consistent in taking games by the scruff of the neck. no disrespect to the Italian league, but i feel like it's a league which isn't testing pogba much, and if he decides to move here (the same as zlatan) he will find it harder to adapt and impose himself. the faster pace for one will be something that will take getting used to. pogba, for me, is in the same bracket as the likes of de bruyne (similar age) who put up great numbers in germany, but still goes disappearing in games.

Excellent player - worth a lot of cash but not 100mil and not worth more than Hazard.

I would rather spend 50 on Koke, and 60 for Kante and Koulibaly give or take.

110 for three players that can make us a new team ready to challenge.
