£80 million for pogba?  i wish we would show as much urgency to bring in some competent defenders as we seem to in chasing paul f**kng pogba. 

He's a lot better than Hulk but he is a luxury player who lords it around like a Peacock and turns up when he wants, 100% Real Madrid fodder I reckon.

I'd imagine it was more the constant links to us he was getting at with the Hulk reference, not the comparison of players.

He is rated the best player in Serie A in terms of rating throughout the season with 7.81 in whoscored.com. Not sure if inconsistency is his problem. His stats are very good for a CM. Lead the league with 12 assists.

However his price tag is above our price range and why the hell would he want to come to Chelsea from Juventus.

I think he would improve us though and would love to see him here.

i don't understand why we would spend so much money on pogba when we need defensive signings. if any of this is the slightest bit true, it just doesn't make sense.

True, but the incentive to get Pogba to come to Chelsea at the moment would be crazy money. Probably highest contract in the world... but if that happens then everyone else will get greedy.

Just signed pogba on fm16. Oscar and Cuadrado plus 50m. This is the only way I will see pogba in a chelsea team for the 16/17 season!

Top player but out of reach this summer. Maybe if we win the league he could be a very expensive option next year, but I think we have to focus on more obtainable targets, so when conte starts next month, we have the core of his team in place already.
