Always wondering how a bid between two clubs, essentially a series of emails and phonecalls end up being public. We've made some swift deals over players without press knowing too much in the past. Is the betting such a big business on transfers someone needs to share some information about dealings then?

Because someone has something to gain from the information being public.

Apparently the Witsel deal fell through because we couldnt agree to personal terms. Hopefully Pogbas demands dont get too excessive.

I think he will command a steep price.

Yea but they can't buy him until next year, with us he gets an extra year of 200k instead of his current 70k

Does he deserve more than Hazard? Cant get behind a player holding his transfer ransom because he wants 200k a week instead of 180.

No he doesn't, I'm not sure how wage structures can differ, as in, 200k for 4 years, why don't they have performance base salary, say, 180k rising to 200k next year if you meet approval of the assessment board, I assume it's because there is no true way of assessing a player and it would lead to ridiculous feuds, we can afford to pay him we made 100 million quid by winning the league, so regardless we should have brought a big player in, the problem is upsetting the dressing room if he gets payed more than other players, mind you if he is a transfer record you can turn round and say if he is truly worth more we should pay him more..but the point is he is not. I dunno why they disclose wages anyway, if it was private we wouldn't have these issues, I wonder if we can give the greedy little blighter the same wages as hazard and if he is moaning a  sign on bonus?

I'm pretty sure Real told De Gea he would get a sign on bonus if he saw out his Man U contract, namely so they can take him on free transfer, the reason it would be useful in the context of chelsea is they can get the money they are after in part up front without over stepping the clubs current top payed players

I think he'd drop Willian and start using him as an impact sub when Fabregas exhausts his options in a game. Fabregas moving forward also means that Hazard can take some time out if need be and we just go with three of Oscar, Fabregas, Pedro and Willian in midfield in front of Pogba and Matic.

I reckon if we get pogba we could sell oscar especially if Kenedy, whois very versatile comes good, I don't think Brazils number 10 would be happy with a minimal role when he could play every week as juve for example
