Really mate, get your head out of the sand for a minute...the title run in is far from settled and if Puma doubled the deal with you lot Wenger would only spend about twenty seven quid of it after his splashing out this season...a couple of twelve year old french boys will come in and be hailed as the youngsters that will take you back to the top.

mate we got millions in bank but not saying it mean will pip you but just give us chance of keeping up with you and city. but no doubt if we don,t then you and city will hit over 100 points next turning the league into ppl.

title race is over. city have won it . their no way on earth they won,t win their last three games. everton will chuck it and west ham and villa their batter.

in end they deserve it. played good football and have the best team. so well done to them

I cannot wait for MOTD tonight. Mark Lawrenson and Alan Hansen as the pundits please!

If they had a defensive ethos like us Hansen would cream his pants.

I've just checked and it's Jason Cundy and Pat Nevin. They wanted the usual LFC cheerleaders but the producer felt the egg on their faces might not look too good.

It be chelsea love in and also a city love in. In end this season ending well with both you and them

liverpool and everton have bottled it and in end no suprise.

can see you and city being milles ahead of the rest next season with us keeping pace with both of you and united clear in 4th.

Your team has never won the prem, you'll never have a bird, and you talk like your mouth is full of popcorn, wouldn't you be sour just a little bit ?

to be fair he seen his team do biggest title choke since newcastle in 1995. so no wonder he upset. they blown their only chance of winning a league for another 10 years.

I only (very) occasionally watch the show, but I don't think I've ever seen Cundy and Nevin on it. I know Nevin does stuff for Beeb's website, but I can't remember seeing him on Match of the Day.

Jason Cundy? Are you sure?

Do you possibly have a source?

He's a good pundit/presenter for Chelsea related matters, but definitely has too strong blinkers on to be a neutral.

I guess that doesn't prevent MOTD hiring their usual suspects

I was joking. He's far too good an analyst for that show.

Evening boys and girls. How enjoyable was that?

Superb display but I'm getting sick and tired of these "anti football" jibes. Defending is as much a part of the game as attacking and today we played to our strengths with the squad we had available.

Kalas, immense. What a debut. Schwarzer, commanding in Cech's absence as he was in midweek.

I enjoyed Jose ripping Jamie Redknapp a new one at full time after his comments about Jose in the wake of the Mike Dean and Michael Riley comments. Jamie "I've won heehaw" Redknapp should stop listening to the sound of his own voice.

The title is still a long shot, we need results to go our way but both ourselves and City have one advantage ... we have players who know what it takes to win championships/cups. Liverpool could well still bottle under pressure, but if we can't win it I'd rather see City lift it than Liverpool. I cannot stand them and their sense of entitlement.

And as for Rodgers and "we try to win in a sporting manner". Did you not see your own player (Suarez) against Norwich when he faked injurey then leapt to his feet when Liverpool regained possession? Glass houses and stones, Brendan.

Come on Chelsea!

liverpool have blown their only chance of title in years. you and city will spend billions in summer and could hit 100 plus points next season

city are champions and you and them could win many more between each other for next 20 to 30 years.

Do you just copy and paste the stuff you come out with?

Exactly my mate was moaning and I said there isn't one way to play football

Also on Rodgers comments, it wasn't our players diving to try and win penalties
