That's what he meant, The people working for Monaco might have thought it would force Real's hand if they leaked that City were interested because maybe Real were haggling over the price but once they saw a genuine rival were in for his signature, That forced their hand.

Superb offensive display by you lot today, If any deluded City or Arsenal fans felt Chelsea weren't clear favorites for the title before today, They are now. The worry for me is Pellegrini doesn't learn, We are very good going forward but far too open and he has not once addressed, I tell a lie, He has addressed it once, In the FA Cup win over Chelsea last year, That was the only game where we had genuine men behind the ball to keep an eye on Hazard and co on the counter. Against Bayern and Barca he played to attack and only got 1 victory in a combined 4 matches, I just hope someone from the board gives him a nudge and say, It's all well and good playing entertaining, attacking football but sometimes it's okay to be a little negative.

About an hour ago Balague tweeted something along the lines of Real have constantly denied they are after Falcao, Which has led to lots of Arsenal fans speculating as to whether he is going to be their big transfer deadline day signing, He was also left out of the Monaco side for tonight's game, You can't make this stuff up, If he joins Arsenal..........

I apologise if i'm cluttering this thread with too much transfer gossip but Balague has just tweeted again and has clearly stated that Real deny having interest in Falcao, Which leaves us, Arsenal and Juventus, Wow, This story twists and turns more times than Di Maria down the wing.
