April 4, 201511 yr how can tony pulis side get beaten at home to the likes of qpr?? I was going to post the same thing. WBA have got one back though...can QPR hold on?
April 4, 201511 yr I look at the table and think... where would you rather be? Ahead, with games in hand, or where the chasing pack are? Still nervy, as it was in all our run-ins, but I wouldn't swap places with any of them. It's in our hands
April 4, 201511 yr Quite refreshing having Kilbane and Jenus on BBC right now. They don't seem massively biased. McManaman was shocking on BT Sport
April 4, 201511 yr Quite refreshing having Kilbane and Jenus on BBC right now. They don't seem massively biased. McManaman was shocking on BT Sport It is refreshing. They are new-ish, younger, pundits and perhaps their approach reflects the game now. Too many of the older pundits are in thrall to what LFC were 30 years ago, for example. Both Jenus and Kilbane are good on Radio5.

It's in our hands Oh of course not been but top with teams chasing is a different pressure to when you're the ones chasing
April 4, 201511 yr They also need a ton of help from other teams to take points off us, and also probably need to win all their remaining games. I'll say it now, Arsenal will not finish above us this season. See I wouldn't say that cause I'm superstitious
April 4, 201511 yr Joey Barton's first goal in three years! Did I hear that correctly? They must have meant Premier League goal because he scored 3 for QPR in the Championship last season.
April 4, 201511 yr Just got in from the Leicester game, great stuff, the fans went absolutely mental. The second half was a pretty good illustration of Leicester's season to date - dominating the whole thing, but almost falling foul to a combination of awful finishing and lack of ideas in the final third. I guess Pearson has cottoned on though as they had five strikers on by the end of the game - David Nugent was playing at centre mid!
April 4, 201511 yr Also Cambiasso is still pure class. Winston Reid is quality too, plus I'm pretty sure Robert Huth and James Collins won every single header which came their way. Did Mulumbu really get sent off for elbowing Barton? He should get a knighthood!
April 4, 201511 yr Joey Barton's first goal in three years! Did I hear that correctly? Also, he was involved in a red card incident but was not the offender!!!!

April 4, 201511 yr Looking forward to watching the games tomorrow and been able to watch them relaxed I don't think it will happen but imagine if City lose, they would remain 4th................City fans will go nuts if this happens.
April 4, 201511 yr City away at Crystal Palace on Monday, tough game. Hope Palace win that! Arsenal have a tough away game at Burnley next weekend, hope to god Burnley win that one. The ladies in my family chastise me for repeating myself, but I need to say again that I am predicting an upset for City.

April 4, 201511 yr Cheeky double post here - I mentioned this in the Brendan Cringeworthy thread earlier in the week but after today it has to get another airing. Let me know when you've stopped laughing. Brendan Rodgers insists Raheem Sterling will not be leaving Liverpool this summer, insisting potential suitors Arsenal cannot be compared to a 'world superpower' like the Merseyside club.In an interview with BBC Sport on Wednesday, Sterling revealed he has postponed all contract talks until the end of the season and admitted he was flattered by reports linking him with a move to the Gunners. But Rodgers is adamant Liverpool are not overly concerned by the attitude of the 20-year-old - whose current deal expires in the summer of 2017 - and argues that Arsenal cannot match the stature of the Anfield giants."The interview surprised us all," Rodgers told reporters. "He's a young player who's still learning, on and off the field. You make mistakes in your life, especially when you're young."Raheem has said his ambition is to win trophies and be successful. Arsenal is a great club - but this is Liverpool. "Liverpool is one of the superpowers of world football. If it doesn't want to sell it won't sell.
April 4, 201511 yr Brenda is the punchline of a very poor joke. That joke, being Liverpool's season. £100M+ spent and not even in the top four.
April 4, 201511 yr "Liverpool is one of the superpowers of world football. If it doesn't want to sell it won't sell. How can he say that will a straight face?Alonso, Mascherano, Torres, Suarez...
April 4, 201511 yr i hope Jose has noted how United and Arsenal went about stopping and beating Liverpool; great pressing game from Arsenal today
