The actual possibility of you fully knowing that you understand mathematics better than another poster is either very small or impossible, depending on whether you know the person or not.

For the record, I also agree with you. We won't win the league this year. It's a salvage season now to get into the Champions League spot I'm afraid. We are too far behind already and in really poor form.

As did I, with both Maths and Physcis. I have no idea if I know more than another poster however. General assumptions are only made when one feels inadequate.

No chance of us winning the league as Jose doesnt want competion for places in the team, he will rather play the same 11 (even when some player's performance is average) every week. Bring in a new capable manager and its game on as i believe we have a very good squad that can go unbeaten till the end of the season and win the league

You say "bring in a new capable manager"...........who's that then ? I can't think of any out there that is better than Mourinho. You're one of these people that wants change as soon as the team hits a bit of bad form, there isn't some miracle football manager out there. Jurgen Klopp or Diego Simeone aren't going to have us win every single game. You're living in a fantasy world.

i am guessing that as you went to college that is better? University? Nope guess not. Never assume. Makes an ASS out of U & ME. Hope the maths you learnt is being useful in all walks of life.

 

Anyway back to the point, all i said was we CAN but unlikely ...............

As above. Real football is supporting your team through thick and thin; not just the glory years. We won't win the league this year - anyone who genuinely thinks we will should get to the bookies and prove their beliefs.

It's unreal to me how people are so eager to get rid of Jose.  As you say, who are we going to bring in?  Klopp hasn't exactly been setting the footballing world on fire lately, and Simeone is staying at Atletico, and even then there's absolutely no guarantee that either could come in and do wonders with this team.

 

We are not going to win the league every year, to repeat it is actually a difficult thing to do (only us and Man U have retained the premiership).  It's that sort of mentality that seems to be pervasive in the newer fan.  Sometimes we need more humility.

Football fans are so finicky nowadays and I'm not sure if it's a Chelsea thing because of all the managers coming and going or if it has always been the norm but the Internet has opened up the views of so many.

 

Usually the fans you talk to are people you know and talk about the game a lot to and you work out opinions that are usually like-minded, now with the Internet you're never sure if you're talking to a fan or a wind up merchant anyway.

 

What I'd say about people that want to bring in Klopp or Simeone or any other manager is I would hazard a guess that the fans of the teams they manage, after a couple of bad games would be clapping their hands in excitement at the mention of Jose being linked to take over at their clubs, I don't care how much opposition fans slag him off, I'm certain that any team that has a few dodgy results that is even thinking about a change of manager would be over the moon to imagine the next one could be Mourinho.

 

I get behind any manger (bar one) at this club and I argued for most that were compared to Jose that they could do as good a job given time but even I was one happy chappy when he came back.

 

I don't like everything about him but I don't have to, I just have to imagine what it would be like if he was managing someone else in the premiership and I get a little warm glow knowing that he's still here.

Well guess what ? Ancelotti made errors in his time with us too, are you forgetting how off the pace we were with United throughout his 2nd season with us ? and Hiddink is closing in on retirement so that isn't going to happen.
