Laudrup didn't contribute that much to Chelsea though. Gullit was amazing in his couple of playing years, but Zola was the man. I saw his debut at Blackburn. Zola was the master of the free kick that the keeper could do nothing about. It hung over the advancing strikers, so the keeper had to anticipate the headers, only to see the initial strike go straight onto the bottom corner

I just wish we had him 3 or 4 years earlier. Imagine him playing a few seasons with the likes of Drogba, Lampard, Makelele and Robben. I am confident we would already have a Champions League or 2 under Mourinho.
