July 24, 20214 yr Derek Johnstone remembers an incident about Jock Wallace from his brief spell with Dundee United. He was on loan there from us for a spell in Nov 1983. "We were playing Rangers at Ibrox and I was warming up in the second half, but I sat back down again - in the Rangers dug-out. It was a natural thing after years with the club." A growl reached him. "**** off," it said. "You don't play for us." It was Jock Wallace 😀 Edited July 24, 20214 yr by erskblue

Robert Fleck who played for us briefly in the 1990s, is on the left of the photo I may have a copy as well. Book came out in September of 1987 so the photo was probably taken in that month and certainly before December when Fleck moved to Norwich. A shame that it didn't work out for him when he played for us. Stuart Munro on the right hand side of the photo. Not one of Rangers greatest players but one who gave his all for the club.
July 24, 20214 yr Picture was taken in mid-eighties. Not sure of the exact year but between 84-86 as that was the kit at the time. Some fine players in the picture.

I remember the media saying that Leeds would beat Rangers in the Champions League but Scotland's finest won 4-2 on aggregate. In the second leg at Elland Road Super and Hateley scored two great goals. The Goalie made some great saves and the defence especially Bomber was brilliant.
