It does look like him. Standing next to the Celtic scout, Sean Fallon?

Yes it is back in those days you scouted for yourself.

Boyne: You'll apprecaite this one. I've only recently seen it.

Looks like two different photos of Ibrox joined together as a new composite. .

A kind of 'Now and Before Photo' or 'Compare and Contrast.'

@erskblue sorry, have just seen this. Thanks for posting. Here's another one of Ibrox.

Those were the steps in the disaster, weren't they?

No, the steps (stairway 13) were on the corner of the Copland Road stand and the Govan (now the Sandy Jardine) stand. The picture above is of the corner of the Copland Road stand and the Main Stand.

I know a few people including a couple of my uncles who were at the game. I remember my Dad who moved to London in the 1950s phoning his parents in Larkhall, about 20 miles south of Glasgow to ask if his brothers were okay. They were A few people from Larkhall were among those who died. Their is a memorial to them in one of the pubs in Larkhall.

The only good (if that's the right word to use) thing to come out of the disaster was that the Rangers board took the decision to rebuild the ground with only the Main Stand remaining.
