He was banned from entering in 2016 for the Champions League clash With Arsenal if I remember correct, probably been resolved by now

I don't think there are loopholes to exploit for Aurier. Mourinho doesn't seem the type to go for attacking FB

Apparently the team instruction for taking the penalties in Moscow was to hit them all to the right because Van Der Sar was identified as being weaker at making saves to his left. 

Anelka went against team instructions and his penalty was saved.

Fantastic night and fantastic game though.

I always felt Anelka was great for us and underrated by the fans. Got the golden boot one season but never any credit for it.

It's true else he'd have played against Arsenal in that CL game. Which probably explains why we didn't bother with him at all.
