Yet another set of mediocre performances all over. Barkley or Kovacic for me, but neither of them were great.

Barkley just edges this one, he fought all game and gave his all. Not the prettiest of performances but a win is a win.

There should be an option for the Malmo support - IMHO they created a wonderful atmosphere for this match

I went with Kovacic because of that lovely bit of skill in the first half that woke me up. 

Always easy to give it to a goal scorer but Kovacic and Christensen stand outs for me.

I have followed on a stream then when that fell over on BBC web updates. 

I thought we were playing better yet lacking penetration.

On seeing the youtube highlights we had a number of chances yet we were not clinical.

For the goal we conceded Kovacic was slow to realize he had man outside him and what was annoying for me Luiz stood watching like a passenger.

Luiz stepped up and tried to play the killer ball just before that. So he lost possession and was then out of position. That goal was on him two-fold.

Agreed. I wouldn't give it to Giroud either. Between Kovacic and Barkley. Went for Barkley. The goal edged it.

Kovacic. interesting how, in order to get the MOTM accolade, a player is still dependent on his team mates. Had Pedro done more with Kovacic's brilliant through ball after that bit of skill, and had it resulted in a goal or at least a shot on goal (it should really), i think Kovacic would have got more votes. Barkley had a decent game, but one really poor error towards the end swung it more in favour of Kova for me
