Much as we scoffed (and later ridiculed) Arsenal for making trophy parade plans they did not end up needing, the club decided the Europa league was not worthy of being shown off? Or our many fans who could not make the farcical trip to Baku did not deserve a chance to celebrate with the team? Or Eden did not deserve one final epic send off?

No wonder some of our fans are spoiled and consider only the league and champions league worthy of celebration. Appears the club feel that way too.

Man Utd also didn’t hold a parade when they won it a couple of years ago.

We are too cool for that. 

We would be mocked a lot if we did that following Liverpool and the big ears....

I think we are literally too big of a club to celebrate a small trophy like that tbh.

The only ones worth having a parade for are the league and champions league. Of course if we won more than one trophy we can celebrate that too as part of a double alongside one of these.

I suppose there's more to it than the wishes of a supporter, such as permission from the council in view of safety and transport,  and availability of the players (many are already with their national squad). The trophy will probably be shown during our first home match next season.

I think that was due to the Manchester bombing and security concerns. We won the title that year and we didn't have a parade either.

I think it's solely up to the club.

I think us and the Manchester clubs only do parade's for the big two whereas the North London duo do parade's for any trophy.

Not sure what side of the fence Liverpool are on.

The reason given (just google it) it, is the that they didn’t want to encroach on the players‘ holidays.
