Why do I keep getting pop up ads for amazon, Google prize winner and Lidl every time I log onto the site? Anyone else getting this? Won’t allow me to go back either.

Yes happening me as well, only on iPhone, not on iPad.

Yes on my iPhone. First it was google ‘CONGRATULATIONS’ then Lidl then Amazon. Really annoying.

Yes today. Happened a few days earlier as well.

Looks like you’ve picked up some malware. Do the following

Go to Settings - Safari 

Clear History and Website Data.

Confirm that you want to delete history

 

Yeah. When I go unto TSE I normally click on ‘View new Content’. The threads come up as normal and when I click into any of those the crap comes up.

I'm getting the exact same, only on mobile as well. Does seem to be random, I suspect a rogue ad? Definitely not malware.

Made no difference.

I only get it when I log onto this site. Maybe THe Shed End has been hijacked by some sort of malware ? I know absolutely nothing about this sort of thing so it’s just a wild guess. 

Working on it @stevo Have removed the Chelsea video box on front page, let me know if it makes any difference.

I don't know anything about computers, so may be ive got worms, trojans, or the traveling wilburys...  🤷‍♂️

Now gone back into the thread and its ok..

Still getting it pretty much 8 out of 10 times everytime I go on the website.

I assumed it would be fixed after a few hours like it usually is, but this has been going on all day.

See what it’s like now, I’ve just blocked that domain.

Its weird, I’ve not had this once today.

Should handle your computer with care to avoid such situations

For me the site was basically unusable over the weekend because of the pop up. 

Yesterday in particular was really bad and I had to give up on even attempting to browse the site. I'm on a desktop right now but will try the mobile site later on and let you know if the issue is still happening. 

Yeah it is a lot better now, cheers for sorting it out.
