Funny, I went to all those home games towards the end of that season, but for the life of me can't remember why I didn't go to one of our most iconic? O well, will put that down as one of my regrets in life!

Them photos of the Leeds game ,all you SEE is working class men with no women girls and a scattering of kids .

Its a full legion if men and boys hence never a lack of atmosphere and unruling behaviour unlike today .

today is far more safer and alot  more comfort at the grounds  with far more success at CFC ,but i think a few on here would not bat 

an eye lid to go back to those days and conditions

It was what we grew up with, we knew nothing else.

Slightly off topic, but remember when there was a live match on tv back then !

Domestically, bar FA Cup Final (Scottish Cup Final from 1977) and England v Scotland  it was rare indeed.
