Sad news for us. He's been a very good, consistent defender. Far better than the French trio we spent megabucks on and now can't sell. I know the club have to raise money - and we've been good at that over the years - but his departure weakens the squad IMO.

Every move we've made in this window so far has weakened our squad. That includes the addition of a fresh batch of clueless 19 year olds.

Unless we get a couple of proper players before the window closes, next season is going to be a very, very rough ride.

Club is clearly f**ked. Handy squad players getting sold, left with trash like Badiashile. Midway through July, pre season under way, all we have to show for it is yet another young one season wonder kid with less than 100 senior appearances.

Among our cb, Chalobah played the most min in pl for us last season yet he is the one that get sold. This is as expected though because we have to sell.

I am glad that I don't read nonsense that we have to sell because of tactic, player profile, quality. Same with Santos, look at the book value, look at how much you think you can get for him in the market. That is the reason.
