no just beaten 3-0 by Middlesbrough when we were truly in our pomp (Mourinho's second season) I also remember getting beaten 3-0 at home to Sunderland and everyones favourite (well nearly everyone) Ashley Cole having a nightmare. We clearly are a long way off from those halcyon days granted, but theres not much we can do about it is there? except have a whinge and live in hope.

Impossible to say whether any of our summer signings make us stronger and weaker until we've had enough evidence on the pitch either way.

Look how the 2020/21 window turned out. Most fans were purring when we brought in Werner, Havertz, Ziyech, Chilwell and Mendy ... it all looked great on paper, but fast forward 2 years and we've already sold Werner, are trying to sell Ziyech, Mendy is becoming error prone, Havertz flatters to deceive and Chilwell after a bad injury does not have his starting position locked down either. £222 million we spent on those five ...
