Breaking lineup:

Kepa

Fofana Silva Koulibaly

James Enzo Kante Kova Chilwell

Felix Sterling

Wtf is Sterling doing up top? Could get at real for pace but pick him over Mudryk?

Nah this is definitely the best team and formation. Sterling has a lot we can criticize on but in terms of retaining the ball and working around tight areas he's just as good as Felix.

Carlo might think we have no hope of scoring so just pick only 2 actual defenders lol

haven't you seen that video after the chelsea game where ancelotti is calling with his father? never seen him so exhausted, think he hasn't forgotten that game

As long as Thiago and Kante hang on in there I feel hopeful tonight. Guaranteeing a goal conceded and both players going off injured in the first five minute. Sorry people, my bad.

No he hasnt . they have been playing camavinga at left back for the past month and Alaba is carlos preferred centre back because he is like a midfielder when they are in possesion

This is the probably the best line up we can come up with. Maybe Zakaria would be better than Kovacic but I don't know what happened to him lately, was he injured or just overlooked? Would prefer Badiashile over Koulibaly also but clearly thats not possible.

Wonder about tactics. I actually think something similar to our play against Dortmund could work in Bernabeu. No Potter though so...hope the defensive line wont be to high up

Camavinga is such a great player unfortunately

Havertz not in the starting line-up, gives me this false sense of hope!

Felix right behind Sterling might be interesting though, flanked by Chillwell and James who ought to exploit Madrid's weaker left side.

Lets hope the boys put in a performance to do us proud and at least keep the tie alive for the second leg.

The pessimist in me fears the worst and even if we do pull of a miracle means we will only face City in the semi's. But try to put that out of my mind and pray for an upset.

COME ON THE CHELS.........!

Odd, why play a midfielder there when you have Toni on the bench and cal play Alaba or Nacho there?

I guess against us it won't matter but City will be a different story.
